An Interview with Egg Embry

Artist: Dean Spencer

I had the opportunity to be interviewed by Egg Embry, who is a Freelance RPG Journalist:

- EN World

- RPG News

- Open Gaming Network

- d20 Radio

- Tessera Guild

- Knights of the Dinner Table (Kenzer & Co)

- Around the Table (GAMA)

He asked me about our current Kickstarter and about future projects. If you want to check it out: Voyages on the Zontani Sea: An Interview With Malrex (The Merciless Merchants) - d20 Radio

The Kickstarter has been funded, which is great news! There is still about a week to unlock some stretch goals. I'm working on finalizing Ascent and Cauldron to try to release them as fast as possible to backers. The Kickstarter is here!

Grützi helped clean up one of my maps and made some suggestions, which I agree with, so going to add a few areas in Ascent--which means doing that 3x, one for each ruleset, but I think it will be worth it.

Jon is busting out Gylagoon's Island and should have a rough draft finished by this weekend and Grützi is continually crafting his magic into Shell of Telvion. I've completed everything for the Sun Orb, except just need some art pieces.

I've also been diving into digitizing my rough maps for the Brine Lord treasure map adventure and typing out all my notes so I can massage them into something legible. I decided to make it a little bit bigger and include a few areas on the island/reef itself because....well...BECAUSE! I'm excited to work with the Legendary Brine Lord tier folk and incorporate their ideas to make this adventure see the light of day--one way or another.

I've finished up compiling the top 8 adventures for PrinceofNothing's No ArtPunk Contest and completed layout. This was a contest to write up an adventure using by-the-book monsters and items except for 1 pass. You can read more about the winning adventures here: Announcing the Winners of the 2021 PrinceofNothingPresents No Artpunk Contest. – Age of Dusk (

All proceeds from this publication will go to The Autism Research Institute | Advocates for Autism Science | Home

I'm just waiting for instructions from DrivethruRPG on how to set it up for charity.

Happy Thanksgiving to those who celebrate it.
